In 1999, Theo Roach graduated with his Bachelors of Social Work from Norfolk State University. The following fall, he was accepted into the Advanced Standing Social Work program at the University of South Carolina. In 2001, Mr. Roach received his Masters in Social Work. After graduation, Mr. Roach worked at Carolina Healthcare-Randolph in the adult outpatient program for five years. While employed there, he obtained his licensure in clinical social work (LCSW). Mr. Roach also holds certification as a Clinically Certified Sex Offender Treatment Specialist (CCSOTS) and as an Academy Certified Social Worker (ACSW).

In addition to his credentials, Mr. Roach has over 12 years of experience working in various community mental health settings from direct services to upper management.  He has also served on many boards. Most recently, Mr. Roach served on the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) of North Carolina. He represented Mecklenburg, Union County, and surrounding counties. He served on the NASW of NC for two terms, totaling four years.

Currently, Mr. Roach owns, and operates, his own private mental health practice located in Union County in Indian Trail, North Carolina. In addition to his North Carolina licensure, Mr. Roach is also licensed in three other states: South Carolina, Georgia, and Texas and is currently pursuing his licensure in Florida and Virginia. Over the last five years of his career, he has devoted his time to youth who show signs of sexual deviance. In addition to his passion, he also provides services such as: dialectical behavioral therapy, sport psychotherapy, group therapy, family therapy, and clinical supervision.
